BBC Red Nose Day 2024
Featuring Waves Music Therapy
Waves are extremely proud to feature on this year’s BBC Comic Relief Red Nose day!
Of the thousands of projects that Comic Relief supports every year, the BBC chose our Rapper In Residence project to film for Red Nose Day 24 with our young spoken word artists, rappers and musicians telling their stories of the impact of their sessions with Waves professional rapper, Louie Le Vack.
This film was then picked up by the BBC Education team who write lesson plans for every primary school in the UK. Our work is going to be replicated in classrooms, getting children from all over the UK making music and rhyme and we can’t wait to hear your work!
If you want to know more, get in touch, we love to hear from you.
BBC Comic Relief/ Waves Film!
BBC Comic Relief chose our young people to tell their stories of how the Waves Music Therapy Rap sessions, funded by Comic Relief, have made such a positive difference in their lives.
Join Jacob and Riley as they share their journey into making music, making friends and making positive change with rapper, Louie Le Vack and Waves Music Therapist, Anna Macken.
Here’s their story…
